Situated in the country, at the heart of the cevennes region of the south of France, and less than 2 kilometres from Saint Jean du Gard, the Ravel estate comprises 22 Gites and covers 4 hectares of maritime pine and chestnut woodland.

 The Mialet river valley with its wilderness and its bathing places of the sort one only dreams of, is one kilometre away. The St Jean river valley, just as beautiful, is also nearby.

The accommodation, all of permanent construction, offers families, groups of friends, those keen on sport or not, a place of comfort and peace. A maximum of 100 visitors can be on-site at any one time which allows for a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. All can enjoy the facilities and activities reserved exclusively for the use of the residents of the village.
 

At Ravel, with the exception of the hire of the tennis court , everything that we offer is free: walking, river trips, archery, pétanque tournaments, table football or table tennis. The necessary equipment is always available for everyone.

 

If you wish, we will help you without charge, discover the country where we were born, on foot, by bicycle, by car, by day, by night, on land and water . . . We will show you all the different aspects of the southern cevennes, from the lower cevennes to the Causses plateau, going through the various cevennes valleys, each one unique. We will tell you about this wild but attractive country, about its people, about their past rich in history and hard work, about the flora and fauna, about, in brief, life in the cevennes.

From April to October, our only goal is the success of your stay in cevennes.
